Bike Condition Very good condition with a remarkably clean and well-preserved 500 Series OCLV carbon frameset. The pearl white and silver finish presents extremely well with only normal cosmetic signs consistent with age and use. This Madone has received a major drivetrain modernization with a new Shimano 105 R7000 2×11-speed groupset, providing significantly more modern shifting performance and versatile gearing. The drivetrain is exceptionally clean, and the bike has been professionally inspected, tuned, and is ready to ride.
Why We Love It The Madone 5 Series combines Trek's lightweight OCLV carbon construction with the responsive handling and efficient power transfer that made the Madone one of the most recognizable American race bikes of its era. The WSD geometry was specifically developed around smaller riders rather than simply scaling down a larger frame. This example benefits considerably from its new Shimano 105 11-speed drivetrain while retaining the lightweight character of the original carbon platform, with a measured complete weight of only 17 lb 14 oz.

Most Bikes Shipped are 90% assembled - Front Wheel & Seatpost are removed in most cases to fit in Box as well as Handlebars are loosened and turned to their side. A simple Allen Key is what is needed to tigthen the Handlebars and typically the front wheel is Quick Release and easy to put back on front. Seatpost is easy to install by a simple Allen key.
